Remember that class guides are a rough explanation of the class, designed to give you an idea of the class and what you should be aiming for. You should really adapt the guide and follow your own instincts to match your play-style!
Unlike other classes, Archer starts with their awakening weapon, which is a Greatbow and can also unlock awakening skills before level However, you will still need to complete the Awakening questline to unlock the use of the Dandelion awakening weapon. The Archer class has lots of movement and dexterity, allowing you to kite your target and deal damage at long range distances. They have high attack damage but very low defenses and are considered a glass cannon class that must rely on kiting and keeping their distance until the right moment.
Archer is toptier in PvE with fast clear speed since he can easily blow up entire packs with a single ability at high range.
He is particularly good in Aakman because he can knock down packs and inflict down attacks. He does have some issues with stamina however and you may find it hard to manage your stamina at first. In small scale PvP, an Archer can be good as long as you know what you are doing and play well. Large scale is where an Archer really shines though, with proper positioning you can deal a lot of damage and make a huge impact in a node war with your high target and high range knock downs.
You also have a heal which can aid your allies in the middle of a battle. Unlike all other classes, Archer starts with their awakening weapon and skills at level 1. The level 56 awakening quest line is required to unlock the use of the Dandelion weapon and yellow grade awakening weapon.
Spirit Arrow [LMB]. This skill is your automatically skilled into and is your auto attack. It is a low damage skill used for regenerating your mana or gathering up monsters. Piercing Cry [LMB] after certain skills. This skill can be used by pressing LMB after skills such as Glide. It is mostly used as a defensive skill if your opponent gets too close because it has super armor when moving and can be useful to evade CC.
This skill is a mediocre skill with low damage. It has no protection or CC and is general quite useless. Breath of the Spirit Quickslot. For example, if you want to use the Recover effect, you will use this skill on your hotbar, then press [A] to select it. This effect will be applied to Exhale when you use the skill, until it is changed.Lahn is a martial artist class who uses the crescent pendulum to fight. The class is very smooth, as they dance while they chop enemies.
They are a highly agile and mobile class that is quick to move and can deliver very high damaging attacks while swinging their crescent. Lahn is ready to engage and disengage in combat quickly because she can fly short distances. If you are looking for a class that can travel between packs and moves around fast, look no further.
Many of her skills are also AoE attacks, which makes her quite fun to play in PvE as well. She is undoubtedly one of the most fun classes to play, especially with Nimbus Stride her flying ability.
However, she has one significant weakness. Therefore the best strategy on her PvP-wise is often to engage by ambushing your opponent fast, before anyone expects it, and get out of there quickly, with Nimbus Stride. For a new player, the complexity of BDO can get overwhelming quickly so it is always advisable that you look for a nice beginner-friendly Guild that is willing to help.
Here is a little Guideline in terms of gear progression you can orientate yourself on. When you start the Game you should stick with doing the Main Questline for a while as it gives you an introduction to the game and provides you with some starter items.
Your gear should now look like this:. As a Lahn, you use your pre awakening mostly for protection, debuffs, and mobility and not for damage which makes the additional AP from Offin way less valuable than Kzarkas accuracy. But but but Crit! The main thing about Lahn is that she has so many utilities you can use to start combos.
But still some basic combos are. Sidestep after Flow: Vice into Deadly Dance to help this. A common catch is also. Once you get used to how to use them all, you will have an easier time with CCing a target.
Lahn has A LOT of protection. You can basically rotate super armor permanently. Mind that Crystals are a personal preference and depending on what you are planning to do in the game. Crystals can shatter upon death and till you hit around full TET armor and weapons you want to look at cheaper Crystals. See to max out on Attack speed and eventually Movement speed.
Otherwise, you can look through the Crystals and take whatever you think might be useful. Corrupted Magic Crystal basically an enhanced version of the blue crit crystals. Mind that if you run into Evasion builds or Hybrids you need way higher accuracy to be able to counter that. Trash Spots Due to her mobility, she is one of the fastest grinders in trash spots and you will perform well in any spot you pick.
Aakman Lahn is one of the top classes in Aakman. Will I be able to do Aakman with AP? NO just forget about the Video, Colesy has done so much Aakman they accepted him as one of their own. Hystria Here Lahn is one of the top classes as well. Ninja and tamer can also give you a run for your money those classes being top tier duelists as well. The builds account for needing that excess for later levels.
Compare lvl 56 to 58 then 60 for Ex. If the mentioned skills are on cooldown then cycle in other Gardbrace skills that are off cooldown. Our damage is maximized by using skills that are ready for use rather than spamming. Damage is reduced and Echo Spirits are not created for skills that are used during their cooldown. By the time you move on to the next pack, most skills should be off cooldown and you can reset the combo. This is mainly for quantity-based grinding areas like Gahaz, Fogans, Nagas, etc.
Mystic is more viable with pure AP or pure DP builds. NOTES : All items in this build are under or around 1 billion silver NAthis makes this build very cheap and competitive while remaining nearly unkillable as of date. Your goal is to tank, distract, CC, and axe forts. There is an argument here for Red Nose and Rocaba for pure mitigation. Other options include stacking Damage Reduction in the form of Urugons, Griffon, and Iron Vambrace, weapon core, ancient seal, rhutum belt, and token of friendship edited.
Crystals are somewhat up to personal preference and are situational. Designed to survive in GvG along with providing powerful buffs to yourself to deal as much damage as possible when engaging. Skip to content. If you have any feedback, want to learn more from the people behind the guide, or just want other Ninja and Kunoichi players to talk to, the discord server is the number one place to go to.
That said, Cid has written an excellent and in-depth guide specifically tailored for Kunoichis over here that you should really check out. In fact, his hard work was what inspired this guide in the first place, and several of the generic sections here were kindly donated by him. Link to resources for Kuno and Ninja players here. There are node wars throughout the week, except for Saturday nights, on which the most competitive guilds will fight over entire regions.
Node wars are usually composed of guilds each with people fighting for the territory. Saturday nights are when sieges, for the region castles, take place.
Sieges generally have hundreds of players in them. This is generally considered the end goal of BDO; to be able to effectively compete in this type of PvP. For smaller scale PvP, there is Red Battlefield RBFan arena mode in which two teams battle and points are gained for each kill dependent on the amount of points your slaughtered opponent had.
There are multiple practice arenas throughout BDO, with one in each major city, and a battle arena that can be teleported to from anywhere in the game. These arenas allow free PvP and respawns, where anyone can fight another player. The Arena of Arsha is where 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 fights can take place.
This feature is more geared towards player-run tournaments. Besides PvP, there is a wide variety of activities to do in BDO, including: life skilling fishing, cooking, trading, etc. Some classes excel at large scale PvP while others excel at small skirmishes and duels. Some classes are very good in all types of PvP, but each class has weaknesses and no one class is unbeatable. However, some classes are certainly weaker than others in terms of damage, mobility, utility, etc.
The Ninja is a melee skirmisher that excels in small scale situations but does somewhat poorly in messy large scale situations. Ninja wields a Shortsword same mainhand weapon as a Tamer or Kunoichi as its Pre-awakening or Mainhand weapon with an offhand Shuriken, and wields the Sura Katana, a set of 6 katanas, as its Awakening weapon, which is unlocked after a level 56 story quest.
Ninja is a high APM class that, depending on your personal playstyle, can viably be built to be a burst DPS or evasive tank build, or a hybrid of both. With Kunoichi, Ninja is one of the only classes to have the ability to go invisible for an extended period of time. Ninjas need levels, gear to a certain extentand skill points. The more skill points you have, the more efficient you are, as Ninjas are one of the few classes that utilize almost everything in their kit.
Ninja is a slightly above average PvE class.Remember that class guides are a rough explanation of the class, designed to give you an idea of the class and what you should be aiming for. You should really adapt the guide and follow your own instincts to match your play-style! The Wizard class is the typical magic caster class with plenty of ranged AoE spells, slows, knock downs and stuns.
Their main weapon is a staff, awakening is the Godr Sphera and their secondary weapon is a dagger. This high damage dealing class also has a range of support skills which make them highly desirable for large scale PVP. The main difference between a Wizard and a Witch is that Wizard is more aggressive with burst damage and has a grab, whilst the Witch class has a buffing block and is played more defensively with higher range and more sustain DPS. Both classes have S block. Wizards play very offensive and will often teleport into the enemy to grab them and then drop their high burst damage in melee range.
PvE is very strong and easy due to the amount of AoE skills and long range. Wizards are weak in 1v1 situtations and most match ups will be hard. In large scale PVP they are very strong however, against both squishy targets and also tanks because of their high burst damage and support abilities to keep them safe. Wizards are weak against Strikers and Mystics because of their high magic resist and chain CC. Other classes with high mobility can also be very hard to deal with, especially in 1v1 situations.
Make sure you reset your skills at level 56 though because you will need skill points for your awakening skills and will only really need the support skills from pre-awakening.
Staff Attack [LMB]. This skill is your main auto attack. This is your teleport and the only mobility skill you have. You can switch direction between the two teleports by turning your camera and can even teleport backwards to your original position using this. You can use this skill whilst in awakening without switching back to your staff. You can also change the direction of this skill after casting it by enabling mouse movements in your settings.
This is your dodge skill.Remember that class guides are a rough explanation of the class, designed to give you an idea of the class and what you should be aiming for. You should really adapt the guide and follow your own instincts to match your play-style! The Valkyrie class was the 7th class to be released. This class uses a sword and shield like a Warrior, focusing on blocking and sword skills. Valkyrie is a tanky class which can also deal damage. They are quite strong in 1v1 PvP situations.
They do lack mobility however, and are considerably slower than other classes. Where they excel is in their abilities to provide supportive buffs, their huge amount of knock down skills, and their survivablity.
The class is fairly easy to play because of their blocks. But to master the class you must be able to time them effectively and use your counter attacks. Click here to view the build. Valkyrie Slash [LMB]. This is your auto attack skill. Charging Slash [LMB] while sprinting. This skill can be used whilst sprinting to perform an instant slash and.
Forward Dash will move you forwards and swing as you move.
BDO Planner - gear calculator
It deals more damage than Valkyrie Slash and is a better way of restoring divine power if you are low. This skill will strafe you to the side as well as swinging your sword in that direction.
This is useful for dealing back attacks for extra damage. This skill is one of your dodges. You can also use it by double tapping [W] to go forwards. This skill will roll you in the direction you chose. This skill will quickly regenerate your divine power at the cost of your stamina. Breath of Elion will heal yourself and allies, as well as giving you a movement speed buff and restoring some divine power.
It does have a long cool down of 40 seconds so make sure you do not waste this skill. Fitness Training Passive. This skill is your passive. It will increase your maximum health and also gives you higher defense.

The skill will cause you to jump and kick at the target, knocking them back and regenerating some of your divine power. Punishment [E]. This skill is your grab skill. It will grab a target then slam them down on the floor, knocking down the target and other monsters in your close proximity.Offhand — Shown is a steel dagger for witch.
For most classes, you will want an AP offhand. We leave the chest at 0 for quest chest later. Accessories — Whatever you can find off the ground or from random boxes. To get here, you should complete the level main quest line which starts the chain to get Roaring Magical Armor that will replace your chest piece. You can upgrade a green awakening weapon very cheaply, and repair weapons are sold at the arms dealer in Altinova for k. You could also just buy one for very cheap.
First you want to TRI your awakening and offhand, and then reform the offhand to Ultimate. While you upgrade your weapons, you can use your armor to make failstacks for TRI. The Asula set makes it a lot easier to get PvP ready, but also sets back incremental upgrades so your first upgrades start expensive.
A smart thing to do to build failstacks for these upgrades is to use the TRI attempts on the Heve gear to build higher stacks for boss gear enhancements. The next accessory upgrades will be pricier than the last. Unless you reroll.
You could pick these up in any order, but above they are ordered by cost. Breaking the hp Asula bonus is kind of bad, but each of these upgrades are m if bought on bid. Card Game?!
